HOMEEYES
Welfare homes like Pusat Kebajikan Ehsan as-Shakur (PEKEAS) face security risks due to reliance on limited traditional locking systems. The HomeEyes project develops an IoT-based smart security system using ESP32 microcontrollers to address delayed incident responses. Integrating door sensors, motion detectors, and ThingsBoard application alerts, this prototype enables real-time intrusion detection and instant notifications to caregivers. Results demonstrate that HomeEyes significantly improves monitoring efficiency and protects donated assets. This study concludes that IoT automation strengthens security management in welfare institutions.
